About Dan

Prior to joining Joe R Stewart, REALTORS®, Dan was a candidate for Austin City Council in 2014, and spent six years as a staffer in the Texas Capitol. His previous experience also includes nearly four years as a financial adviser in the Metro Detroit area prior to moving to Austin.

Dan's experience in real estate began a decade ago after obtaining his real estate license in Michigan. Since moving to Austin, Dan has enjoyed owning and managing his own rental property, learning everything from popcorn ceiling removal to cabinet and flooring installation.

Dan has a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Michigan, and is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, Texas Association of REALTORS®, Austin Board of REALTORS®, South Austin Business Association, and Austin Young Chamber.
